Event Planning

The best events are those that are staged for a purpose, are newsworthy in their own right, and simple in design and execution. We stage events that are objective driven and audience specific. They offer our clients a solid return on investment.

DEETER was responsible for the creation and implementation of Pumpkinfest, a community-wide event that raises money for the Bucks County Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (BCCADD). DEETER participated as the lead creator and organizer for this unique event beginning in 1991 and the entire staff volunteered to produce this event for the next 10 years. During that time, DEETER brought dozens of local artists to carve giant, 100-300 pound pumpkin squash into spectacular creations. Carved pumpkins are illuminated for display and judged. DEETER also arranged musical entertainment and family activities for Pumpkinfest. The event has proven to be very successful and continues to be an annual Bucks County tradition and successful fund-raiser for the BCCADD.
